Step 1 - Race Engineer (Level 2,200)
Speak to the Race Engineer on Starter Island once you hit level 2,200. This starts the V2 quest chain and unlocks the Sea Beast kill requirement.
Step 2 - Sea Beast
Defeat a Sea Beast in Second Sea open ocean. Sea Beast is a scaling-level boss with ~120,000 HP and continuous water spout attacks. Bring a high-mobility fruit.
Step 3 - 50 chests worldwide
Loot 50 world chests across any sea. This is the longest step — Fruit Notifier and VIP gamepasses significantly speed this up by extending drop uptime.
Step 4 - Zenith during a storm
Defeat Zenith inside the Shadow Island cave while a storm event is active. The storm event is mandatory — Zenith does not spawn outside of it. Zenith drops the Zenith Sword at 100%.
Step 5 - Pay the fee
Return to the Race Engineer and pay 1,000,000 Belly plus 100 Gems. The V2 awakening applies immediately and unlocks the race-specific V2 traits (Demon life steal, Dragonborne regen, etc.).
